Our Barbell enables our members to work under the guidance of our Strength & Conditioning coaches to develop their strength and power.

The Fundamental Lifting workshop is the starting point to this programme and then more advanced Olympic movements can be taught and implemented as the programme evolves. Barbell Club is evolving, but usually operates in 6 to 12 week cycles where we look at volume, speed and styles of lifts. We continually re-test our members to track their improvements in strength. We cater from the de-conditioned and nervous first time lifter, right up to the experienced Olympic lifter. With the nurturing support of our Barbell Club and access to a top team of coaches, you have got a fast track route to success. Newcomers are welcome in at any phase of the programme and immediately after completion of Fundamental Lifting.
